Brian Witkin is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Records. A musician himself before he went into the music business, Brian oversees Pacific's operations and business development. Brian also heads the publishing division of Pacific Records, establishing it as an industry leader in film and television placement with an emphasis on corporate branding and advertising partnerships. Brian's career spans nearly two decades in the record business and he continues to be musically active as a performer, recording artist, and record producer. He is also an active member of the rock band Cambrian Shores.

 

Beyond music, Brian has a diverse background as an executive, having founded and run several businesses. Witkin is an advisory board member of The College of Letters and Sciences at National University, the second-largest private, non-profit institution of higher learning in California. Brian holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree (JD) from San Francisco Law School and a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) and Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in history from National University in San Diego. He is an avid photographer, surfer, airplane pilot, rescue diver, and Dive Master. Brian’s father, Joseph Witkin, was the original keyboard player of Sha Na Na and performed at the Woodstock Music and Arts Festival in 1969.
